Checked on 29 August 2026 at palyazat.gov.hu and kormany.hu. The suspension does not cover the whole programme: it targets the filing of applications for one call over the territory of Budapest. The energy renovation programme reopened under simplified conditions on 20 January 2025, open to houses built before 2007, with a budget of 73 billion forint, of which roughly 67 for rural areas and 6 for Budapest. Support combines up to 5 million forint of non-repayable grant and 5 million of interest-free credit, until the budget is exhausted or at the latest 31 March 2027. The status deserves re-stating call by call: the data here aggregates several distinct windows.

Conditions: Dwelling built no later than 31/12/2006. Minimum energy savings target ≥ 30%, certified before/after. Own contribution ≥ 14.3% of total budget.
2026 changes: Suspended in several counties from 17/04/2026 (budget exhaustion): Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, Veszprém, Zala, Győr-Moson-Sopron + Budapest. National suspension of the energy efficiency programme announced for 23/04/2026. Resumption and new conditions to monitor.

Conditions: Dwelling in a Hungarian municipality with < 5,000 inhabitants. Beneficiaries: parents with child < 25 OR retirees (since 26/03/2025). No energy efficiency requirement. Application within 60 days after works completion.
