Home Renovation Program (energy efficiency track)

Amounts
- HUF 2,500,000 · Non-repayable component: HUF 2.5M to 3.8M depending on configuration
- HUF 6,000,000 · Subsidised loan up to HUF 6,000,000
Conditions: Dwelling built no later than 31/12/2006. Minimum energy savings target ≥ 30%, certified before/after. Own contribution ≥ 14.3% of total budget.
2026 changes: Suspended in several counties from 17/04/2026 (budget exhaustion): Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, Veszprém, Zala, Győr-Moson-Sopron + Budapest. National suspension of the energy efficiency programme announced for 23/04/2026. Resumption and new conditions to monitor.
Rural Home Renovation Program

- 50% · cap HUF 3,000,000 · Up to 50% of costs, ceiling HUF 3,000,000 (half materials / half labour)
- HUF 6,000,000 · Subsidised loan up to HUF 6,000,000 (pre-financing)
Conditions: Dwelling in a Hungarian municipality with < 5,000 inhabitants. Beneficiaries: parents with child < 25 OR retirees (since 26/03/2025). No energy efficiency requirement. Application within 60 days after works completion.
Household Energy Storage Programme

Conditions: Any adult with an existing PV installation or committing to one. Nominal storage capacity ≥ 10 kWh; DC-side connection via hybrid inverter. Total budget HUF 100B (~€244M).
