Checked on 29 August 2026: the Sanierungsbonus was stopped on 2 February 2026 precisely so that the Kesseltausch could continue. But the Kesseltausch had in turn to close so as not to exceed the commitment framework. The federal Sanierungsoffensive 2026 envelope, capped at €360 million, is exhausted. No replacement is announced federally: what remains are the Länder schemes, including Vienna and Lower Austria.
