Checked on 29 August 2026: the Sanierungsbonus was stopped on 2 February 2026 precisely so that the Kesseltausch could continue. But the Kesseltausch had in turn to close so as not to exceed the commitment framework. The federal Sanierungsoffensive 2026 envelope, capped at €360 million, is exhausted. No replacement is announced federally: what remains are the Länder schemes, including Vienna and Lower Austria.

Checked on 29 August 2026: no new registration or application is possible, the Sanierungsoffensive 2026 resources being exhausted. No federal successor is announced. The relays are the Länder schemes — here Vienna's Thewosan and Lower Austria's renovation support — whose coverage is regional, not national.
