Energie- & Umweltzentrum Allgäu (eza!) is a non-profit corporation that was founded by the municipalities of the Allgäu, by businesses and action groups to promote both energy efficiency and renewable energies. eza! offers a wide range of services, such as media work and organisation of events, energy consultations, training schemes for professionals and support for local and regional energy policies.

North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency (REGEA) was established by the City of Zagreb and three neighbouring counties – Zagreb, Karlovac and Krapina-Zagorje in 2008 within the framework of the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme (IEE).

REGEA's scope of work includes providing information, education and promotion of energy sector’s best and brightest examples, support in the development and implementation of national, regional and local energy plans and programmes, energy audits and certifications, energy performance contracting and public private partnerships.

Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) is a not-for-profit think tank with a focus on independent analysis and knowledge dissemination, supporting evidence-based policy making in the field of energy performance in buildings.

Their mission is focusing on:

  • Supporting the development of ambitious – yet pragmatic – buildings-related policies and programmes at EU and Member State levels;
  • Driving timely and efficient implementation by teaming-up with relevant stakeholders;
  • Providing fact-based analysis and knowledge, and sharing best practice globally through networks in Europe and globally.

The Center for Energy Efficiency (EnEffect) was founded in 1992 in Sofia in response to the acute need of energy conservation in all spheres of public life. It has been established with initial financial support from Battelle/Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (USA) in co-operation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiesti - Prahova (AE3R) started its activity in 2009 and during this time has managed to become one of the major energy authorities in the Prahova County. In 2015 AE3R opened a subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova. The Agency is a member of one of the largest European networks of energy agencies- FEDARENE (European Federation of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies).

Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe (NALAS) is a network of associations of local authorities of South East Europe. The Network brings together 16 Associations which represent roughly 9000 local authorities, directly elected by more than 80 million citizens of this region. The NALAS Secretariat, based in Skopje, is responsible for the overall coordination and the implementation of the activities.
