Conditions: Existing dwellings in Republic-controlled areas with household-tariff meter. For multi-unit buildings: one application via the authorised committee representative. Combined measures mandatory (single measures ineligible). ≥60% savings target.

Conditions: PV: building/planning permit filed before 01/01/2017. Legally existing primary residence. Household meter. Installation by registered installer with approved equipment list. Pre-approval mandatory before works.

Replaced by Support Scheme for Solar Water Heating Systems in Residences 2026

Checked on 29 August 2026: the Council of Ministers approved a new scheme for 2026, implemented by the Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving Fund. It takes over with a one-million-euro budget and higher amounts for mountainous areas and vulnerable households.

Conditions: Installation or replacement of a complete hot water system — tank and panels — meeting defined technical criteria. Budget of €1,000,000, applications open until 20 December 2026 or until 2,000 applications, whichever comes first.
