2026 changes: Major reform on 01/03/2026: owners in income brackets 1 and 2 limited to heat pumps and heat-pump water heaters only (insulation, windows, roof excluded). Non-residential buildings excluded. Last applications under former scheme: 28/02/2026 23:59.

2026 changes: From 01/01/2026, applicants who own another dwelling or building plot in full ownership are excluded.

Replaced by Mijn VerbouwPremie — My Renovation Premium

Checked on 29 August 2026 with Fluvius and Energiesparen: since 1 January 2025 the EPC label premium is applied for exclusively online through Mijn VerbouwPremie. This is not an abolition but a change of counter, with transitional arrangements on the Fluvius side. One deadline worth knowing: if the pre-works EPC dated from 2019 or 2020, the post-works EPC had to be drawn up before 1 January 2026.

Conditions: House: starting label E or F → target C or better within 5 years. Apartment: starting D/E/F → target B or better. Final EPC dated max 12 months before application.
2026 changes: Officially ended on 01/01/2026; transitional period until 30/06/2026 for beneficiaries with a starting EPC dated before 31/12/2025.
