Conditions: Dwelling built and occupied before 2011 (before 2006 for some heat pump scopes). Valid MPRN. SEAI-registered contractor mandatory. Not combinable with One Stop Shop for the same measure.
2026 changes: 3 February 2026: maxima raised (cavity wall, attic, heat pump). 2 March 2026: a second wall-insulation measure now allowed even if a prior grant was received; minimum uplift requirement of 100 kWh/m²/yr removed for projects including a heat pump; new window and door grants; enhanced grants for first-time buyers and welfare recipients.

Conditions: Dwelling built and occupied before 2011. Current BER B3 or lower. Target BER after works: B2 or higher. Since 2 March 2026 the 100 kWh/m²/yr uplift requirement is removed if a heat pump is included.

Conditions: Dwelling built and occupied before 2006. Owner-occupier in primary residence. Recipient of one of: Fuel Allowance, Working Family Payment, One-Parent Family Payment, Domiciliary Care Allowance, Carer's Allowance, Disability Allowance (>6 months with child <7), Jobseeker's Allowance (>6 months with child <7). Household Benefits Package alone is not eligible. Since January 2025 no more fossil-fuel boilers installed.

Conditions: Dwelling built and occupied before 2021. Valid MPRN. Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) ≤ 2.0 required. For homes built before 2007: SEAI Technical Assessment mandatory. Post-works BER required by SEAI BER Assessor.
2026 changes: Heat pump grant raised from €6,500 to up to €12,500 (incl. new Renewable Heat Bonus) on 3 February 2026.
