Checked on 29 August 2026 at renolution.brussels: the grants are suspended for new applicants and the site states that as at that date there is no government decision on any new form of support. Only applications for invoices dated 2024 could be filed, and that deadline has closed. No regional replacement is announced. What remains are municipal grants, which vary from one municipality to another, and the Belgian federal levers: 6% VAT and the green loan.

Conditions: Programme SUSPENDED since 01/01/2025 for all new applications. The Brussels government confirmed in February 2026 it will not reintroduce premiums in their former form and is moving to a zero-interest loan system (Ecoréno). Only applications with a final invoice dated 2024 were accepted; submission window closed. Historic scheme: 42 premiums grouped into audits/energy services (A), roof (E), façades (F), windows (G), heating (J), electricity (L), ventilation (M).
2026 changes: Renolution premiums suspended since 01/01/2025 with no new applications possible. No government decision has been published at the verification date regarding a new support scheme; the government has announced a shift to Ecoréno credit (zero-interest loan for low income) and full pre-financing for the 30% most modest households via the European Social Climate Fund (ETS2). Final parameters not published as of 20/05/2026.

2026 changes: Zero-interest Ecoréno is to become the main pillar of regional support. Exact parameters (ceiling, term, income conditions) are not yet finalised at the verification date.
