2026 changes: PV rate reduced from 20% to 15% (since 1 July 2025). Skattereduktion för mikroproduktion av förnybar el ('60-öringen', 60 öre/kWh, ceiling SEK 18,000/yr) abolished on 1 January 2026.

Conditions: Owner-occupier of villa (en- eller tvåbostadshus) with original direct electric or gas heating. Conversion to heat pump or water-based heating, installation of controllable air-to-water/geothermal/air-air heat pump combined with PAC water heater; conversion to water-based heating.
2026 changes: Budget 2026: SEK 300M/year through 2030; broadening and simplification announced (April 2026). Ceiling raised to SEK 60,000.

Checked on 29 August 2026 with Boverket: the support is being phased out and can no longer be applied for; files already granted may still be paid by the county administrative board, with funds secured to the end of 2027. Since 9 April 2024 the preliminary amount granted can no longer be increased. Important point: the state's effort has shifted to single-family homes, with 300 million kronor a year to 2030. That is not a replacement for a multi-dwelling building, whose owners are not eligible for the new support.
